2007 South Pole Last Degree Trek
Lance completed the 125 kilometre final degree skiwalk, manhauling his own 50kg sled over the high ice of Antarctica and reached 90 degrees South... the Amundsen Scott South Pole Station on the 15th December 2007
2011 Dog Sled Challenge
Lance went to the dogs! He came 27th out of 67 competitors in the Finnmarksloepet 500, Europe's most Northerly Dog Sled race. 500 kilometres of trekking across Northern Norway's Arctic wasteland.
2009 North Pole last Degree Trek
Lance completed the 125 kilometre (plus a lot of extra kms as he was dragged in every direction by polar drift and wind) final degree ski-walk hauling his own 60kg sled across the thin ice of the Arctic Ocean and reached 90 degrees North... The North Pole on the 14th of April 2009.
2013 Greenland Crossing
Lance tried to retrace the steps of Fridtjof Nansen, the great Norwegian Explorer who in 1888 completed the first crossing of Greenland. Lance set off with two fellow adventures Arne Karlstroem and Richard Marchant from sea to sea up and over the ice, but were hit by a monstrous Hurricane on the high ice cap after completing 101 km into the interior of Greenland. The team survived and returned to the coast to plan for another day! Fortunately they were uninjured.
2014 Iceland
Lance and Matt Spenceley successfully completed a Easy- West crossing (130 km) of the Vatnajökull glacier, Europe's biggest ice cap (in Iceland).
