Conductive Education is a holistic, movement based educational approach, designed for children and adults with motor disabilities (such as Cerebral Palsy) to enable them to overcome their difficulties so that they can lead a more independent life.
This method targets the whole personality, develops movement and communication, as well as cognitive and social abilities.
Who is “conducting” the program?
Qualified specialists, so called “conductors” are highly trained to provide a complex program which involves active physical action, speech and language exercises and improving the participants' learning and problem solving abilities.
The conductor motivates the children in a fun and children friendly way, so that they are willing to initiate the necessary movements by themselves. This encourages our students to receive as much support as necessary (so they feel secure) but at the same time as little help as possible (leading to independence).
